Trice and I have something super special. I am more in love with him today than I was yesterday, but I’m not going to say it has all been smooth sailing. In the beginning, people would say, “Y’all are so in love with each other — it’s just because it’s the newlywed phase.” Almost as if it would be inevitable that within a matter of time and life experience we would grow to despise one another. SO encouraging, right? And then some time went by. I studied my butt off in my last year of college. And then I got pregnant unexpectedly (which by the way, can you say BEST surprise EVER?). And then we bought a house. And then we moved again. And again! And now almost four years later, I don’t think anyone can say that we are so in love with each other “just because we are newlyweds.” We have gone through a LOT in our marriage thus far, and we are still in love.

Two Heads are Better Than One.

So, it is true. We are having another baby! I am about 9.5 weeks along and my due date is November 17. EXCITING!! And we thought it would be fun to make a little announcement to share the news to our friends and extended family. My sweet friend over here in Texas, Danielle Birkbeck, snapped this cute picture of my cute boy and put together this cute little graphic! Thank you Danielle! Hello friends! Being that I am a mom, and I am running around after a delectable almost 2-year old all day, I try my hardest to find dinner recipes that are EASY yet HEALTHY. 

I wanted to share what I cooked for dinner tonight. We shall call it "One Dish Chicken Goodness".  This is perfect for nights that you don't have a lot of time for prep and you want something easy and healthy. Just give yourself enough time to bake this in the oven for about an hour.

So I thought it would be fun to start off this blog by introducing our new house. And by new house, I mean our third new house in less than two years! You see, Trice and I bought a house in Baton Rouge in November 2011 not knowing that one year later we would be moving to Texas. So our precious little house sold (thankfully!) in December 2012, and we moved into a home in Texas that we were supposed to purchase at the end of January... Well, the purchase never went through, so alas, we moved to our NEW new house on Red Wolf Drive.
